Our Story

​

Interior Creative was created in 2019 and my intent was to create a future thinking interior architecture consultancy specialism in workplace design. I draw on my experience working with global firms who challenged the constructs of what a workplace is and why.
I have 30 years experience in commercial interior design and construction, and bringing a warmth and humanity to spaces, and believe that the needs of the people and businesses who inhabit spaces is the purpose we strive to fulfil with the environments we create.
I have worked in the areas of retail design, healthcare and more recently for the past 20 years in the specialty of workplace design and strategy,

I worked for Unispace as Associate Designer and Principal Designer for 9 years working very closely with clients in a senior leadership role, often leading strategy sessions and being the design lead through to Construction. I’ve worked at all aspects of the project and am very strong conceptually, working along side architects to develop the larger building and urban planning vision.

I have worked on a range of building scales from (23,000m2) for Westpac on Takutai as the interior design lead when I was at Jasmax, to small boutique scale design projects like Unispace office (460m2).

My work has won design awards over the years, and has appeared in publications. I was also a judge at the Best Awards in 2018

I can confidently translate workplace strategy into space and love to collaborate with clients in the early phases of a project to challenge the architecture and understand the business through a series or workshops and interviews. I build enduring relationships with my clients and consider many of my clients to be long term friends.
